Who We Are

About Us

At The Veterinary Physiotherapy Company we offer a holistic approach to the treatment of animals. Our sessions consist of comprehensive static and dynamic assessments which result in tailored physiotherapy treatment programs for your animals. Physiotherapy treatment is often a composite of manual therapies, electrotherapy’s and remedial exercise prescription with rehabilitation goals tailored specifically to the needs of both the animal and the client. We strive to promptly deliver detailed treatment plans to both the client and treating veterinary surgeon to maximise the prognosis and treatment of animals within our care.

Specifically, The Vet Physio Co. predominantly utilises TENS,NMES and Class 3B laser within our treatment regimes as well as manual techniques and prescriptive exercises supported by the latest research to optimise the treatment of your animals.

Graduating from Moreton Morrell College in 2023 with a first-class Bachelor of Science degree with honors in Veterinary Physiotherapy, establishing 'The Veterinary Physiotherapy Company' was the next step for our founder, Caileigh Eddie.

Caileigh's professional journey began at Towcester Equine Vets, where she initially embarked as a customer service representative, receiving a nomination for the 'Petplan Receptionist of the Year' award. During her tenure at Towcester, Caileigh's deepening interest in pharmaceuticals became apparent, ultimately propelling her into the role of Equine Dispensary Manager, overseeing the in-house pharmacies at both the Onley and Towcester Practices.

Beyond her professional life, Caileigh's love for animals shines through with her household of eight dogs. She finds joy in organizing and hosting competitive sheepdog trials, showcasing her dedication and admiration to both the competitive and working dog. This is evident considering Caileigh recently began competing with her own dog, Sally, a talented 2.5-year-old Border Collie, exemplifying her commitment to fostering the potential of working dogs.

Caileigh also owns an expanding flock of 50 breeding ewes and shepherds part-time on a beef and sheep farm in Leicestershire. This hands-on experience allows her to gain an intimate understanding of the needs and challenges faced by animals in an agricultural setting. Academically, Caileigh's interest in agriculture is reinforced by her obtainment of a CertHE distinction in Agriculture, demonstrating her commitment to understanding and working closely with the agricultural world.

Caileigh's academic endeavors extended beyond her certificate in agriculture, driven by her deepening passion for animal welfare and acknowledgement of the benefits of veterinary physiotherapy within the worlds she was involved in. This pursuit culminated in her achievement of a Bachelor of Science degree in Veterinary Physiotherapy.

"The Veterinary Physiotherapy Company" stands as a testament to Caileigh's diverse skills, academic achievements, and profound understanding of animal welfare. Her unique background, which combines veterinary expertise, pharmaceutical management, agricultural knowledge, and a deep connection to working animals, establishes her as a standout figure in the field of veterinary physiotherapy. Caileigh has combined her extensive knowledge and her love for animals to create a sanctuary of care, rehabilitation, and compassion for our four legged friends; ultimately helping your companions find their stride.
