Who We Are

About Us

At The Veterinary Physiotherapy Company we offer a holistic approach to the treatment of animals. Our sessions consist of comprehensive static and dynamic assessments which result in tailored physiotherapy treatment programs for your animals. Physiotherapy treatment is often a composite of manual therapies, electrotherapy’s and remedial exercise prescription with rehabilitation goals tailored specifically to the needs of both the animal and the client. We strive to promptly deliver detailed treatment plans to both the client and treating veterinary surgeon to maximise the prognosis and treatment of animals within our care.

Specifically, The Vet Physio Co. predominantly utilises TENS,NMES and Class 3B laser within our treatment regimes as well as manual techniques and prescriptive exercises supported by the latest research to optimise the treatment of your animals.

Graduating from Moreton Morrell College in 2023 with a First-Class Bachelor of Science degree with honours in Veterinary Physiotherapy, establishing The Veterinary Physiotherapy Company was the next step for our founder, Caileigh Eddie.

After launching her practice, Caileigh gained invaluable hands-on experience at Willows Veterinary Centre and Referral Service, working with complex neurological and orthopaedic cases within a multidisciplinary specialist team. During this time, she continued to operate as a self-employed mobile veterinary physiotherapist, allowing her to build her practice while gaining specialist experience. In November 2024, she transitioned to being fully self-employed, dedicating herself entirely to The Veterinary Physiotherapy Company. Since then, she has also been fostering strong interdisciplinary relationships through Lunch & Learn sessions with surrounding veterinary practices, promoting collaboration and shared learning to enhance patient care and building strong referral relationships.

In 2025, Caileigh opened a veterinary physiotherapy clinic in Warwickshire, and by the end of the year, hydrotherapy facilities featuring an underwater treadmill will be available, offering even more advanced rehabilitation options for referred patients.

Earlier in her professional journey, Caileigh began at Towcester Equine Vets, where she initially worked as a customer service representative and was nominated for the Petplan Receptionist of the Year Award. Her growing interest in pharmaceuticals led her to become Equine Dispensary Manager, overseeing the in-house pharmacies at both the Onley and Towcester Practices.

Beyond her professional life, Caileigh’s love for animals shines through in her household of eight dogs. She enjoys organising and hosting competitive sheepdog trials, reflecting her admiration for both working and competitive dogs. She recently began competing with her own dog, Sally, a talented 4-year-old Border Collie, demonstrating her commitment to nurturing the potential of working dogs.

Caileigh also owns an expanding flock of 140 breeding ewes, gaining first-hand insight into the needs and challenges faced by agricultural animals. Her academic interest in agriculture is supported by a CertHE distinction in Agriculture, reflecting her commitment to understanding and working closely with the agricultural world.

The Veterinary Physiotherapy Company stands as a testament to Caileigh's diverse skills, academic achievements, and deep understanding of animal welfare. Her unique background — combining veterinary expertise, pharmaceutical management, agricultural knowledge, and a strong connection to working animals — positions her as a standout figure in veterinary physiotherapy. By merging her extensive knowledge with her passion for animals, Caileigh provides a sanctuary of care, rehabilitation, and compassion for four-legged companions, ultimately helping them find their stride.
