Service Description
The Initial Assessment & Hydro Introduction (1–1.5 hours) is divided into two clear parts. First, a comprehensive physiotherapy assessment is carried out, including a full history, physical and gait assessment, and discussion of goals to create an individualised treatment plan. The session then progresses to a separate hydrotherapy introduction, where your dog is gently acclimatised to the clinic environment and the underwater treadmill. A shortened hydro session is completed to allow your dog to become comfortable and confident with the equipment, water, and handling, ensuring a calm, positive, and safe introduction to hydrotherapy.
Cancellation Policy
Please note a £25 deposit fee is requested at the time of booking. Bookings are confirmed on receipt of deposit payments. At The Veterinary Physiotherapy Company, we appreciate your dedication to your pet's health. To streamline our services, we kindly request a minimum 24-hour notice for any cancellations or rescheduling. Cancellations made within this timeframe will result in the full retention of the booking deposits. No-shows will be charged at the full cost of the appointment. In the event of a late arrival, sessions may be shortened without adjustment to fees. We ask that outstanding fees be settled promptly. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in ensuring the smooth operation of our practice and the best care for your pet.
