Service Description
A Hydrotherapy & Electrotherapy Session (60 minutes) is a follow-up appointment after the initial assessment, combining active rehabilitation with targeted pain management. The session includes hydrotherapy using an underwater treadmill, where variables such as water depth, speed, and duration are adjusted to improve strength, mobility, and gait while reducing joint load. This is complemented by electrotherapy, which may include Class 3B laser, therapeutic ultrasound, NMES, and TENS to reduce pain and inflammation, promote tissue healing, and support muscle function. Together, these therapies provide a comprehensive, individualised approach to optimise recovery, comfort, and ongoing rehabilitation progress.
